Settings & Configuration

WTN Suite's settings allow you to configure AI providers, select models, customize narration prompts, and set up application preferences.

AI Configuration

API Keys

WTN Suite supports two AI providers for vision analysis and narrative generation:

  • Google Generative AI (Gemini) — enter your Google AI API key
  • OpenAI (GPT-4) — enter your OpenAI API key

You need at least one API key to use the core pipeline. You can switch between providers at any time.

How to get an API key:

Active AI Service

Toggle between Google GenAI and OpenAI as your active provider. This affects both Step 2 (Vision Analysis) and Step 3 (Narrative Generation).

Model Selection

  • Vision Model — choose which model analyzes your panels in Step 2
  • Narrator Model — choose which model generates narratives in Step 3

Available models depend on your selected AI provider and what's currently available from Google/OpenAI.

Panel Detection Settings

YOLO Model

Choose the panel detection model for Step 1:

  • Manhwa Style — optimized for Korean webtoons (vertical scroll format with clear panel separations)
  • Manhua Style — optimized for Chinese/Japanese manga (page-based layouts with complex arrangements)

Narrator Prompt Settings

Built-in Templates

| Template | Best For | |----------|---------| | Master Prompt v4.1 | Most content — cinematic storytelling with continuity rules | | Template 2 v4 | Scenario-specific narration — choose Pure Narration, Character Interaction, Visuals Only, or Mixed | | Template 3 v3 | Faster processing — simplified version of Template 2 | | Khmer Language | Cambodian/Khmer language content |

Custom Prompt

Override the built-in templates with your own narrator prompt. Your custom prompt must be at least 10 characters long. This gives you full control over:

  • Narration style and tone
  • How characters are referenced
  • Level of detail in descriptions
  • Language and vocabulary choices

Application Preferences

CapCut Draft Path

Set the default location for CapCut Director project exports. This should point to CapCut's draft folder so projects appear automatically in CapCut's project list.

Auto-Login

Enable or disable automatic login with saved credentials. When enabled, your credentials are stored locally with encryption.

Tips

  • Start with Google Gemini if you're new — it generally provides excellent vision analysis
  • Experiment with narrator templates on a single chapter before batch processing
  • Save your API keys securely — WTN Suite stores them encrypted locally, but keep your own backup
  • Check model availability — AI providers occasionally update available models; check settings if results change unexpectedly
